Classes must be paid in advance.  Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of the class in order to reschedule.  All payments are non-refundable, but are transferable to other classes.

“Protect Your Computer I ”                                       $30.00/seat        (one session class)

  • Two one and a half hour classes packed with information for keeping your computer up and running in orderly condition.
  • You will be given an informational booklet created by High Tech Hobbies to follow along with class, which you will be able to keep.
  • You will be given a FREE disk with spyware removal utilities to download onto your computers at home and utilize the programs to keep your computer clean.
  • At the completion of the class, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from High Tech Hobbies for attending and finishing the class.
  • Individuals attending this class will be given $10.00 off the purchase of e-Trust Antivirus at time of class

    1. What are spyware, adware and malware?  This class will teach you what they are…
    2. How spyware damages your computer
    3. How it gets on your computer
    4. How to remove spyware from your computer
    5. You will also have step-by-step instructions on removing spyware.
  1. Add/Remove Programs
    1. Learn the spyware programs that download themselves to your computer. 
    2. Learn how to remove these programs from your computer
  2. Online Scanning Utilities
    1. Learn to use high-tech online scanners to remove spyware and viruses that your other programs don’t find.
  3. Spyware removal programs
    1. You will be given full instructions on how to use several programs to help remove spyware from your computer’s registry.
  4. WinSock File Fix
    1. When you have Internet connection, but Internet Explorer isn’t working…this will fix it!
  5. Disk Defragmenter
    1. General cleanup to your computer’s hard drive can keep your computer is working condition longer!

1.        Bring your own digital camera and learn all the features of the camera

2.        Use our cameras or your own camera to take digital pictures

3.        You will learn to copy and move pictures from your camera to the computer

4.        You will learn to manipulate pictures on the computer and print the image.
